Everybody Has The Right To Be Educated
Many years ago millions of students did not have the chance to get education because of being disabled. Moreover, at least two million others were not receiving an education appropriate to their needs.
We should not shut an eye to the fact that disabled people are also human beings. No matter if we are white or black, Christian or Muslin, handicap or not, we are all human beings. And we are all equal to God and law.
The educational process of the handicapped shouldn’t be compromised. Inclusion improves learning for both classified and non-classified students. When youngsters who have learning problems are included, students without disabilities often do better academically.
Students with physical, mental or emotional disabilities are educated by special education teachers. The latter teach handicapped, communicatively handicapped, physically handicapped, and visually handicapped people. Special educational teachers help them achieve their fullest potential. They provide all basic instruction and teaching techniques to each learner’s needs and abilities.
Special education teachers are involved in the students’ behavioral, social, and academic development. They help them develop emotionally, feel comfortable in social situations, and are aware of socially acceptable behavior. Special education teachers enjoy the challenge of working with students with disabilities and the opportunity to establish meaningful relationships with them.
So we should bear in mind that everybody has a right to get education. Education does not bear any discrimination, let it be diversity in race, culture, ethnicity, language background, and ability/disability.
