Take The Advantage Of Cork Boards
Many classrooms and offices have cork boards installed, because these boards are both functional and decorative in their use.
Cork is a wide spread material used for bulletin boards mainly because it is cheap. Cork boards serve as a comfortable place for sticking any kind of notes. If a board is made creatively, it can also serve as a funny and attractive office decoration.
Cork boards vary in the frame material: wooden, aluminium, mirror pieces, tree branches or foam making the frame look unique. Many offices use cork boards to tack papers, memos, pictures or any other different kind of office information. Still its decorative use is also possible and very interesting, in some houses cork boards are for example put in the kitchen for the family members to leave any kind of messages and letters.
With all its usability facilities cork boards still have some disadvantages. One of which is that cork boards often get cluttered and careless after some time of tacking on it. The solution to this problem might be covering it with a piece of fabric, which must not be too thick but firmly attached and stapled. If your board is already damaged you may repair it and at the same time make a new frame for it.
Use a cork board to its purpose or not, be creative and take the advantage of it.
