School Gadgets Help To Cheat
All of us are well aware that school is not simply a place where pupils study, but a place where they have fun and play their first tricks.
If several years ago those tricks were strictly criticized, now pupils, on the contrary, are being encouraged by many companies. I mean the companies that produce funny school gadgets.
Today, pupils may easily find accessories that are made exactly for cheating. For instance, last week, at the stationary store I was looking for a marker, when I ran into a very special pen. The pen was a very thick one, a little bit longer than the ordinary ones. There was also a long gap on the shaft. When I examined it carefully, I saw that there was some rolled paper in it.
At first I didn’t understand what it was meant for, but soon I understood. A ready-made crib! But the most ridiculous thing about it was that several more rolls of paper were also included in the pen set. Now tell me, can any child resist the temptation of having such an all-powerful pen? Isn’t it more attractive than their test books? Of course, it is.
The next thing I’d like to talk about is another kind of pen. It was introduced to me by my small nephew. He is a pupil in middle school. He showed me a pen, which was a very ordinary one at first sight.
He gave me a paper and asked me to write something. I tried to write, but it wouldn’t work. After a minute’s efforts I announced that the pen was not writing. My nephew smiled, took the paper and something that looked like rubber, and started to rub the paper. After two seconds some ink was seen on the paper: the scribbles I’ve made myself with an “empty pen.” Well, this is another bright way to cheat.
However, no matter how amazing these gadgets are, and how much joy they bring to our lives, we should take measures to stop the production of such gadgets. They will not be helpful to students.
