Student Codes of Conduct
Who goes to post graduate school in search of a higher degree and further education? The answer is definitely those who are conscious enough to understand that they do need that knowledge and realize that cheating is the last and worst thing to do for gaining a high grade.
That is what “Student Codes of Conduct” supposes. But the fact is that nearly 73% of all kinds of test takers agree that most of them cheated at some point if there was the possibility and need. The statistics show that 95% of the cheaters were not caught and most of them don’t think cheating is a crime.
If a student of an evening class takes the exam answers from fellow students attending morning class to cheat on the exam, he may not do it again. But the point is that he’s first of all harming himself. It’s not the grade that will later help you find a job, it’s knowledge.
Nowadays most colleges pay special attention to cheating, which always has severe consequences–from a low or zero grade on the particular test you were cheating on, to even failing a course or even being expelled from university.
Prepare the exam material beforehand. Be fair with yourself because your future success may only be the result of academic honesty.
