Child teaching is the first step to the child’s education. It cannot function without teaching a child manners. Everything starts here.

Teaching child manners is a key to success for your child to be more social and open to the public; to be able to handle all the obstacles in his way and, after all, to establish communication.

Preschool aged children should learn manners not only at home but also at kindergardens and at schools. Of course, at a preschool age children learn manners subconsciously. Teachers must carry out new strategies.

Here are some tips you can put into practice while teaching manners to your child.

The first precondition is to teach the child the basic manner phrases: “Hello,” “Please” and “Thank you,” the primary essentials to get into touch with people. While teaching a child manners teachers or parents should not forget to emphasize the importance of moral values through various fairy tales or didactic stories.

Of special importance is to teach the children the ability to share and to tolerate. In child teaching the role of self-control is significant. When children are able to control their conduct they are more likely to face the difficulties in their life.

Teachers must develop in a child the ability to respect, to accept his faults and be able to apologize. They ought to promote child’s hygiene and the use of table manners, such as not to put his elbows on the table. When in class the children should know to raise their hands to speak out, to go to the blackboard or to go out. The next step could be to teach the child when he can speak in a loud or in a low voice.

I would like to add that the teacher herself must serve a good example. She must not stop encouraging and praising the children when they are distinguished by their good manners and self-control.

Parents and teachers should gain patience and not let children grow without manners.
