Books Design Your Child's Life

Books Design Your Child's LifeThe famous American journalist and novelist Anna Quindlen once mentioned in one of her articles, “I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves.”

You may agree or disagree with this but you are most likely to be positive about a child who reads. Psychologists insist that the best way to promote your child’s love towards reading is to read for them daily.

Today it is a common opinion to think that multimedia has excluded books from kids’ and especially teenagers’ agenda of the most popular activities. But let’s not consider the presence of TV or Internet as contributing factor in excluding books. Indeed, nowadays the large variety of TV programs, Internet services and other mass-media have decreased the role of teenage books in teenagers’ lives. But books still exist and the only problem is to maintain that existence and prioritize it.

If you are in search for the best genre of teenage books, you may want to combine business with pleasure. Teenage fiction books perfectly enrich your child’s lexicon and imagination. In addition to this, historical fiction books guide them in time, present the past and also entertain young adults with compelling events. Heroic stories based on friendship, love, respect and other human values impact positively on the future virtuous individual.

The following question may arise in you: Don’t fictional movies do the same? And the answer will be: they may, but reading books allows teenagers to work out their imagination and individually create the picture of the story in their mind. Moreover, reading develops analytical thinking which is very important for the developing character.

Thus, by choosing the best fiction books for your children, you will help them get interested in building and designing as many bookshelves as possible in each phase of their life.
